Find out whether AI recommends you.Every week, in writing.

Buyers now ask an assistant before they ask Google, and you cannot see any of it — no rankings, no referrer, no clue whether you were named or your competitor was. Every week we ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini the questions your buyers actually ask, and show you who got named, who got cited, and whether your position is moving.

01

The questions your buyers ask

We suggest the questions from what we already know about you — your profile, your products, your audience, your location and the keywords in your content plan — and label each one by where the buyer is: just looking, researching, comparing, or ready to buy.

None of them contain your brand name, because a question with your name in it measures nothing: of course the assistant says yes. These are the questions someone asks when they have never heard of you. Keep the suggestions, reword them, delete them, or write your own.

  • Suggested from your profile, products and content plan
  • Awareness, research, comparison and purchase questions
  • Edit, delete or write your own at any time

02

What the weekly report tells you

Four numbers, each against last week: your mention rate, your share of voice against the competitors you already listed, your average rank when you are named, and how many answers linked to your site. Under them, a mention-rate trend with one line per assistant.

Then the question table: for every question, whether each assistant named you — and who was named ahead of you when it did not. That last column is the one that tends to sting, and it is the one worth acting on.

  • Mention rate, share of voice, rank and citations, week on week
  • Scored against the competitors you already named in setup
  • Which of your published pages the assistants cite

03

Open any answer and read it

A number you cannot check is a number you cannot trust. Click any question and you get the full answers collected this week, with your name and every competitor highlighted in the text, and the links each answer cited listed underneath.

That is where the score comes from, in plain sight. Nothing is scored by a model guessing: a name is matched in the text, and the rank is the order the tracked names appear in.

04

Which sites the assistants trust

"Most cited sites" ranks the domains these answers lean on across all your questions, with your own site and your competitors marked. It shows you which pages the assistants already treat as the authority on your subject.

And because Tepine is publishing on your site daily, the same page shows your own articles turning up in those citations over time — which is the whole point of writing them.

  • The domains the answers cite most, yours marked
  • Your own published pages, where they were cited

05

Names and spellings are yours to set

Your brand name from your profile is always matched. Add the other ways people write it — "Acme CRM", "AcmeCRM", your domain — and give each competitor the name an assistant would actually use, not just their domain.

Saving re-scores the answers already collected, so a spelling you add today fixes your history too, without asking the assistants again.

Under the hood

The details, for the careful buyer.

Asked three times each

Assistants do not answer the same question the same way twice. Each question is asked three times per assistant per week, so a single odd answer does not move your trend.

Three assistants

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, each through its official API with web search turned on. Google AI Overviews and Claude are not covered.

Matched, not judged

Names are matched in the text on word boundaries, case- and accent-insensitively. No model decides whether you were mentioned, so every result can be explained by pointing at the answer.

Named vs cited

Being named in the text and being linked to are counted separately — an answer can cite your page without ever saying your name.

Rank against your competitors

Rank is your position among the names you track, not in the assistant’s whole list. Rank 1 means you were named before any competitor you listed.

Answers kept for 26 weeks

The full text of every answer is kept for six months so you can go back and read it. The scores are kept, so your trend outlives the text.

Questions

About ai visibility.

Is this what ChatGPT tells my customers?

Not exactly, and we would rather say so. We ask each assistant through its API with web search on, as an anonymous user with no history and no location. The consumer apps add memory, personalisation and location, and may default to a different model, so a signed-in customer can see a different answer. Read your numbers as a trend that moves, not as a transcript of what every buyer is told.

Do you cover Google AI Overviews?

No. Overviews have no API, and scraping them would give you a number we could not stand behind. Today it is ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, each through its official API.

Why without my brand name in the question?

Because a question naming you proves nothing — the assistant will describe you either way. The questions that matter are the ones a buyer asks before they know you exist, which is exactly where you either get named or you do not.

How soon do I see results?

The first check starts as soon as you confirm your questions, and results appear within the hour. After that it runs once a week. The trend line needs two weeks before it can show a direction.

Will publishing articles actually improve this?

That is the bet, and this page is how you check it rather than take our word for it. Assistants answer from pages that answer the question clearly, and "most cited sites" shows whether yours is becoming one of them. No one can promise a citation.

Why did a number jump?

Assistants are not deterministic, which is why each question is asked three times. If an assistant changes the model behind its API, the model that answered is recorded on every answer, so a shift shows up as something explainable rather than a mystery.

Can I track more questions?

How many questions you can track at once depends on your plan, and the page shows your count against your limit. Removing a question keeps its past results in your trend.
